IT Tralee secures half a million in national bid for up-skilling opportunities
30.8.2010 IT, Tralee has recently been allocated €500,000 to deliver a range minor and special purpose award programmes which will commence in September 2010. Nationally, 26 organisations were allocated funds, by the Department of Education and Skills under the Labour Market Activation Initiative (LMA).

Higher CAO applications result in significant point increases
25.8.2010 The Institute of Technology, Tralee has seen a 17% increase in this years CAO applications compared to 2009.   The significant increase in demand has impacted on the cut-off points for the majority of the programmes offered by the Institute. Approximately 70% of programmes have increased in points. 

IT, Tralee awarded training fund for the unemployed under the LMA
8.6.2010 Following an open tender competition in which 370 tenders were received the Institute of Technology, Tralee was successful in securing €340,592 funding under the Labour Market Activation Fund Initiative.

The highlight of the student sporting calendar, the IT Tralee Annual Sports Awards were held last Thursday night in the Earl of Desmond Hotel, Tralee. Four hundred guests attended the function to celebrate student achievement and participation in sport.
