IT, Tralee to host SciFest 2010

SciFest a one-day festival of science will be held at the Institute of Technology, Tralee on Wednesday 12th May, 2010. Scifest is a regional Young Scientist Competition and is open to all second level students.

SciFest is jointly funded by Intel and Discover Science and Engineering.

The SciFest fair will include:

• A competition
• An exhibition of projects
• A selection of science talks
• Science demonstrations in colleges' laboratories
• A prize-giving ceremony

Institute of Technology, Tralee SciFest entry forms are available for download at http://www.scifest.ie . The closing date for receipt of entries is Friday 12th of March 2010. Completed entry forms should be posted to the name and address given on the back of the entry form.
